Second Surface Printing
Featuring White Ink printed second surface on Lexan material, these invitations showcase advancements in digital print technology. The lexan material provides a study base for the printing, as it is stronger and much more durable than traditional acrylic. The stronger the material, the more peace of mind when sending these one-of-a-kind invitations through the mail.
White ink stands out behind the transparent lexan, displaying the event’s information in a beautiful, pristine way. By printing behind the clear material this piece has a finished, framed look that adds an air of elegance to the invitation. Our Zund Digital die-cutter custom cut each individual piece to perfection, and our finishing department helped ensure that every detail was up to par.
How It Was Printed
To create these custom invitations, we relied on the quality that only HP digital printers can provide. Using our HP flatbed 700 digital printer we were able to print directly to the back surface of the clear Lexan material. Multiple hits of specialty white ink were used to make each letter stand out on the transparent background.
