Since 1917, The Pulitzer Prizes have been honoring the best in books, drama, music and journalism. In October, The Pulitzer Prizes and Columbia University’s Columbia Print came to GSB Digital in need of help producing a wall mural to add the finishing touch to their newly renovated Pulitzer office. To produce the wall graphic GSB Digital utilized its HP Designjet 26500 – 60” Latex printer, printing the images onto a permanent adhesive vinyl. It was then laminated to keep the quality images intact for years to come. Using digital die cutting technology, shapes of the image and letters were cut and after a few final quality checks, the piece was ready to go. When GSB Digital arrived at Columbia University for a seemingly routine installation, our team was escorted through the prestigious Pulitzer Hall and were greeted by members of the board. Our installation team skillfully installed the wall mural as the board watched with excitement to see the new center piece. Once completed, clapping and cheering filled the room.
