Our ongoing PrintWISE series serves to enlighten creative professionals through educational content on the capabilities and diversity of things like media, print applications, embellishments, and technologies used to distinguish print today. On August 22nd
, GSB Digital hosted its fourth PrintWISE event, with a focus on “Crossover Print”. This event aimed to inspire creatives to elevate and diversify their brands and accommodate the demand for luxury in new ways without compromise by utilizing traditional and digital printing methods in tandem.
Our guests were impressed by the unique pieces displayed on our sample showcase. Among those were beautifully designed digital packaging with traditional foil stamping, letterpress pieces that utilized variable data, and charming notecard sets that included an assortment of our available print processes.
GSB Digital’s Marketing Director, Jessica Andersen, introduced and moderated the Q&A Panel featuring three leading creative professionals. Our panelists, Paul Thorogood, Chief Product Office of Crane Stationery

, and Jim DeSimone, CEO/Creative Director at Team D Consulting
, shared insightful thoughts from the brand perspective on how crossover print applications benefit them and their clients in today’s dynamic marketplace. Guests were also enticed to participate in tours of GSB Digital’s digital production facility, as well as our new traditional production facility to gain a behind-the-scenes look on the printing process. Throughout the evening, our attendees mingled and perused our facility while enjoying some drinks and light fare, making PrintWISE not only educational but also fun.

At the end of the night, our attendees left PrintWISE with a new perspective and a bag full of beautiful crossover print sample pieces. With nearly eighty guests in attendance, this year’s PrintWISE proved a great success. GSB Digital plans to host additional educational PrintWISE events in the future.
